Bio: Casey joined the PE and Rec team in June 2023. Her journey in campus recreation began at the University of Utah, where she held a variety of positions including intramural official, membership attendant, and facility manager. After receiving her BS in strategic communication and minor in psychology from Utah, she spent a year as an intern at UC Berkeley Rec Sports.

Casey has made her way to the University of Oregon after completing her tenure as a facilities graduate assistant at the University of Kentucky, where she earned her master’s in sport leadership and graduate certificate in instructional communication.

Casey explains where her passion for campus rec comes from: “I have had great mentors at each of my previous schools who developed, encouraged, and supported me every step of my journey, and I am excited to be that person for the student employees here at the Rec Center."

Cost of attendance is the estimated cost to attend the UO for the academic year. The Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships provides estimates for cost of attendance information that goes beyond tuition and fees, and includes: living expenses (housing and food), books/supplies/equipment, transportation, and miscellaneous personal expenses.
